Dampened voices and arrant clinks of glasses mute as the door closes. The strange surprise of death is the way the dead take on a new life that refuses to leave you alone. An occasional presence in life becomes a permanent presence with death — this psychic and even corporeal company that lives with you as you go about your days; as you speak to someone at the bodega, a party, or as you go quietly into your room. It’s a secret of death: a beautifully morbid dress woven from a silk that only the wearer can feel. Standing around or getting dressed with all these people making you up, while appearing as if you are just yourself.

The Kino Jumper is made of Italian Cotton with a gentle give. A ballet-neck-line and princess seams construct the bodice, atop a lightly gathered skirt. Horn buttons line the front of the garment and an invisible side zipper allows for a fitted bodice. The Kino Jumper transitions between seasons and can be worn on its own, or also pairs well with a shirt and tights. Due to the intricate nature of this garment, Kino Jumpers are crafted on a made-to-order basis. Please allow four weeks for construction and shipping. Please note: All made-to-order garments are final sale.
